The client faced several challenges, including identifying and filling a resource gap in the health, safety, and quality department to ensure compliance with five major ISO standards. They also needed to manage health and safety functions while engaging with stakeholders and support the recruitment of a new Head of Health & Safety.

Solutions

PSM took on a wider role in the business to head up the health, safety, and quality function, establishing a direct reporting line to the COO for performance updates and new challenges.

We provided coaching and mentoring to internal health and safety advisors, quality managers, and ISO leads to build internal capabilities.

PSM successfully led the ISO re-certification audit for five major standards, earning acknowledgment from the senior leadership team and executive board.

We managed health and safety functions by engaging with both internal and external stakeholders through build partner meetings and audits.

PSM ensured compliance and significantly reduced operational risks through a comprehensive approach to identifying risk areas and working with Quickline to provide solutions.

Additionally, offering general health and safety support for Quickline’s UK operations, ensuring consistent fire and safety practices across the business.
