Our Health & Safety Role in Programme Oversight

Pro Safety Management provided independent Principal Contractor Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM) oversight, working alongside Vodafone’s leadership teams to support the effective discharge of dutyholder responsibilities under CDM 2015.

CDM is a European Directive, and is a key regulation to ensure correct planning, design, construction, and handover. The regulation provides a key framework which can be applied to any global rollout.

Operating as an expert partner, we strengthened health and safety governance arrangements. This involved checking onsite health & safety controls are in place, the provision of supervision, and coaching to the project management team.

Our oversight focused on proactive risk identification, supply chain coordination and programme-level assurance, enabling Vodafone to maintain momentum while operating safely within a highly regulated infrastructure environment.
